Bethshan Ministries, an aged care facility located on NSW’s Central Coast, uses a Managed Services solution for its network. Bethshan required an IT partner that could easily provide remote administration and maintenance for their IT network.

Antunes Lawyers first came into contact with Matrix Solutions when encountering problems during an implementation of legal practice management software. For John Lakos, the principal of Lakos & Co Lawyers, a business and real estate specialist law firm providing advisory services to the SME and Commercial business market, moving to a hosted solution was an evolutionary process. A client of Matrix Solutions for 10 years, Matrix has taken the responsibility for managing the availability, performance and running costs of Lakos & Co’s network of servers, PC’s and critical business applications.

Another reason Kevin chose a hosting solution from Matrix was for the backup of his network. Kevin was previously conducting a tape backup himself - a system previously set up by Matrix. However, the tape capacity could no longer hold all the data, so an alternative was required. Now all KGIBD data is stored on a secure server.

Solari & Stock is a solicitors practice based in Miranda, Sydney. Managing Partner Michael Solari initially made contact with Matrix Solutions in 1997 through the implementation of legal industry software solution. After consulting with Matrix Solutions’ director Anthony Ridley-Smith on some additional IT issues relating to data backup, Michael quickly developed an ongoing relationship with Anthony. From 1997 - 2002 Matrix Solutions managed the Solari & Stock network on site and responded to technical issues over the phone and on-site where required.

This relationship changed in 2002 when Matrix Solutions developed and introduced its Managed Services to its customer base. The Managed Services solution was developed to deliver a superior, yet more cost effective solution to customers of Matrix Solutions. Through the use of Microsoft Terminal Services technology Matrix Solutions engineers have the ability to completely manage a remote network as if the network manager was on-site negating the need for customers to pay for travel time or minimum time periods when an engineer is on site.

In 2008, Solari & Stock made the transition to a Hosting Solution. This was a natural progression and eliminated the need for another costly server refresh.
